Made of a high grade silicone compound, Tommy Tape will never crack and can stretch to three times its length. It's not sticky and will bond only to itself. (We know - we played with it.) Tommy Tape can withstand extreme temperatures, both hot and cold - from minus 85 degrees Fahrenheit to in excess of 500 degrees Fahrenheit. It conforms to any configuration, salt water doesn't bother it, and it can be applied and used underwater.
